Chip is an advocate for industries across Illinois and the United States. POLITICO has called him an “intense,” “mile-a-minute kind of guy,” and the Washington Post has called him a “youthful outsider.” The Leadership Institute said, “Chip Englander has a track record. He wins.” Chip has spent nearly twenty years advising Fortune 500 companies and political campaigns. He has worked on campaigns for president, senator, and governor.
Chip’s Expertise: Strategy, Campaign Management, and Communications
Prior to joining Michael Best Strategies, he served as Campaign Manager for Governor Bruce Rauner. Chip was the governor’s first hire and was the top employee for an operation that grew to 83 offices, more than 700 paid workers, and over 10,000 volunteers. After managing the governor’s race, Chip served as senior advisor on the Governor’s Transition Committee. Besides Governor Rauner’s campaign, he’s advised United States Senators including Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Rand Paul (R-KY). He also has an extensive background in polling and modeling, and has conducted surveys for Governors Arnold Schwarzenegger (R-CA), Rauner (R-IL), Doug Burgum (R-ND), and George Pataki (R-NY). He has used the latest technology evolutions to advance campaign and corporate interests.
