Michael Best is pleased to announce the addition of Trevor Wilkins as a Principal on the firm's Healthcare team. Trevor brings a robust background in healthcare innovation, strategic partnerships, and early-stage venture development to the firm, further strengthening the group’s ability to provide comprehensive counsel and insight to healthcare organizations.
Wilkins most recently served as Vice President of Partner Engagement at ScaleHealth, where he led national partnerships and helped develop a proprietary health-tech indexing platform that significantly expanded the organization’s member network. His entrepreneurial spirit is evident in his co-founding of DayVue Health, an SMS-based symptom tracking platform for chronic care patients, which achieved strong patient engagement and was reimbursed by Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurers.
“We are excited to welcome Trevor to our healthcare team,” said Kristine Seymour, Co-Chair of Michael Best’s Healthcare team. “His unique experience and innovative approach will be invaluable as we continue to provide top-tier consulting and support to our healthcare clients.”
Earlier in his career, Wilkins was a Principal at Quake Capital, a venture capital firm and accelerator, where he supported more than $6 million in early-stage investments. He also co-founded KÜDZOO, an educational rewards platform with over 500,000 users globally, and successfully raised over $1.7 million in funding. In recognition of his impact in the education technology space, he was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in 2016.
“Trevor's addition to our team underscores the firm’s strong commitment to staying at the forefront of the healthcare industry and delivering innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our clients," said Mike Evens, Co-Chair of Michael Best’s Healthcare team. “Trevor’s expertise in healthcare innovation, strategic partnerships, and early-stage venture development will be a strong asset to our clients as he supports their key growth initiatives.”
Wilkins remains actively involved in the innovation ecosystem, serving as a health-tech vertical expert with Goodie Nation and as an entrepreneur in residence for multiple accelerators, including Black Ambition and Grid110.
Wilkins earned his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology from Princeton University. His dedication to innovation and community involvement is further highlighted by his recognition as a Larta Heal.LA Fellow in 2024 and his service on various boards and organizations.
