Kannah brings experience in federal policy and advocacy, supporting efforts across the water, energy, and defense sectors. Her work has included policy research, grant support, and direct communication with government officials at the local, state, and federal levels. She has contributed to initiatives related to environmental regulation, infrastructure funding, and economic development.
During her undergraduate studies, she interned for U.S. Representative Earl Blumenauer (D-OR) and U.S. Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR), where she assisted with legislative research in areas such as national security, agriculture, and energy. She also supported constituent outreach and helped manage funding requests for Oregon-based projects.
