Alison Prange is a nationally respected government relations strategist and accomplished executive with a distinguished career leading high-impact organizations and campaigns across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. As Managing Director at Michael Best Strategies, Alison brings decades of experience advising C-suite leaders, managing complex stakeholder environments, and positioning organizations for success at the intersections of business, government, and the media.
Alison most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the MKE 2024 Host Committee, where she led the strategic planning and execution of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. In this role, she oversaw a multi-million-dollar operation, managed a multi-functional team of professionals, and worked closely with federal, state, and local officials to deliver one of the most high-profile events in the country and generating an economic impact of over $320 million to the Southeastern Wisconsin region.

Alison has led and advised numerous high-stakes policy campaigns at the local, state, and federal levels. As an executive, Alison has managed multi-million-dollar budgets, large teams, and built and managed high-performing boards of directors to achieve ambitious results and drive growth and profitability.
Alison’s leadership also extends to the nonprofit sector, where she has served in executive roles for organizations such as Ballotpedia, the Henry Vilas Zoological Society, and the American Cancer Society. At Ballotpedia, she was Vice President of External Relations, overseeing national partnerships, revenue growth, and media strategy. At the Henry Vilas Zoological Society, she led successful capital campaigns, stakeholder engagements, and implemented public affairs initiatives that elevated the organization’s visibility and impact.
Earlier, Alison held a variety of events management and communications roles at the White House, presidential campaigns, and on several state-level campaigns, serving as her foundational, firsthand experience in large-scale event execution, grassroots advocacy, and winning political operations and strategy.
