Allison draws on nearly a decade of senior Capitol Hill experience to help clients navigate the complex intersection of policy, politics, and strategy. She has advised congressional leadership at the highest levels, managed critical legislative negotiations, and built deep relationships across the House Democratic Caucus.
Most recently, Allison served as senior floor advisor to House Democratic Whip Katherine Clark (D-MA), where she counseled Members and staff on debate procedures, voting strategy, and legislative scheduling. In this role, she maintained relationships with all 213 Members of the House Democratic Caucus, collaborated with bicameral and bipartisan leadership teams, and provided strategic advice on legislative outcomes in high-pressure, fast-moving environments.
She previously worked in the office of Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) as a floor assistant, advising the speaker on daily House operations and helping shepherd historic legislation including the Inflation Reduction Act, Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, and CHIPS and Science Act through one of the narrowest majorities in U.S. history.
Allison also served as legislative assistant to Congresswoman Lucy McBath (D-GA), where she managed a diverse policy portfolio including education, energy, environment, and reproductive rights. She played a key role in drafting, coordinating, and advancing bipartisan legislation, including the Family Violence Prevention and Services Improvement Act of 2020 and the Child Care Protection Improvement Act of 2019.
Her earlier Hill experience includes serving as staff assistant to Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), where she oversaw operations, constituent services, and intern management. Prior to her time in Congress, she worked as an operations associate at IDS International Government Services and as a field organizer for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party during the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign.
