Bettsy Konicek is a Market Strategy Manager at Michael Best Strategies, where she leverages her expertise in strategic planning and relationship-building to help navigate complex markets and advance the company’s development goals. Bettsy partners with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, develop actionable strategies, and deliver measurable results.
Bettsy joined Michael Best Strategies in 2022, serving as Executive Assistant to the President before advancing to Market Support Manager and now Market Strategy Manager. She leads high-value events, coordinates cross-functional teams, and crafts strategies that strengthen client relationships and expand market reach.
Prior to joining Michael Best Strategies, Bettsy was Division Coordinator for Business & Community Development at the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC). There, she managed the deployment of over $2 million in COVID-19 relief grants, supported small businesses, and collaborated with public and private partners to advance entrepreneurship and community revitalization statewide. Bettsy also represented WEDC on the First Lady of Wisconsin’s Leadership Council on Early Years, helping drive the state’s efforts for a $10 million federal Pre-School Development Grant focused on early childhood education.
Earlier in her career, Bettsy served as Early Childhood & Recreation Program Director for the City of Oconomowoc, where she expanded and advanced educational programing though strategic initiatives. She also held roles in marketing and public relations at Midwest Home Care.
Bettsy holds a Bachelor of Arts from Edgewood University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Trinity Western University. She has earned certifications in economic development and is committed to fostering opportunity and building strong communities.
